41. Cold dinners! Or No dinners
Did you know some Austrians and Germans don’t eat anything for dinner except cold meats and cheese with brown bread?!?! Are you kidding?? I was SOOO hungry at my in-laws house, after the 3rd day I was craving a hot meal for dinner, WE Americans are used to eating a HOT, HEARTY MEAL for dinner, case closed!

Yup! After 6 years of putting up with this...totally took the fun out of enjoying a charcuterie plate while in America. When in Germany, I now cook every meal (unless we are eating out)...no ifs, buts, or ands. I haven't touched cold-cuts for over 3 years now...and I plan keep it that way...
