18. Everything is Closed on Sunday
Almost everything, every grocery store, retail store, malls, etc. are closed on Sundays and you are stuck with only some restaurants and gas stations, train stations and that’s it, everything else is closed because THAT’S THE GERMAN LAW!!! Ahhh Germany, can you explain how working Germans do their grocery shopping if the stores close at 6-7 pm (sometimes if you’re very lucky 8pm only certain stores) and if you work late, you ONLY have Saturday to shop for FOOD!!?!? Let alone do anything else..how do you do it??! ! I mean really, it’s something to get used to. You better plan ahead and make sure you have those extra eggs that you need because if you’re refrigerator is bare you are going hungry on Sunday.
