16. Traffic signals that are not placed properly (ever hear of city engineering?) so that you have to bend your head at 45 degrees to see if it turned green

    This gets me every time. The first time i was here 9 years ago...i was thinking "how do they know when to go??? I couldn't find the street light. Finally when i was told this...i was like "WHAAAAAT"...who was this brilliant to decide that the traffic light be on your side of the road so when you stop its literally right above you...so you have no choice but to bend your neck like a contortionist so you can see the light signal on side of the street...shouldn't this be common sense?
