Not being able to purchase international foods, spices, cookware, tools etc..that means no pure vanilla extract anywhere! cake flour, tablespoon measuring spoons, or measuring cups, Pam or even cake pans! That means no American Cake or anything else without spending 4-10 times the price, ex. Libby’s pumpkin pie mix only available at a German department store for 5 Euros (that’s 7 US Dollars) that goes for .99 US cents in the States, sometimes 2 for 1 during Thanksgiving sales. Nope, no Thanksgiving in Germany, and No, you can’t have your cake here and eat it too!
